Un concurso de reality show donde dieciséis o más náufragos divididos entre dos o más "Tribus" son llevados a un lugar remoto aislado y se ven obligados a vivir de la tierra con escasos suministros durante aproximadamente 39 días. Los desafíos físicos frecuentes se utilizan para enfrentar a las tribus entre sí para obtener recompensas, como alimentos o lujos, o para "Inmunidad", lo que obliga a la otra tribu a asistir al "Consejo Tribal", donde deben votar por uno de sus jugadores. themoviedb
