加拿大医学灵异剧《拯救希望》由科幻剧迷非常熟悉并喜爱的两位演员主演－－来自《超人前传》（Smallville）的Erica Durance和来自《星际之门》（Stargate）系列的Michael Shanks。在该剧中，多伦多Hope-Zion医院的外科主任Charlie Harris（Michael Shanks）遭遇车祸后不省人事，让整座医院陷入混乱，他的未婚妻兼同事Alex Reid医生（Erica Durance）更是忧心如焚。Alex决心在新来的著名外科医生Joel Goran（Daniel Gillies）的帮助下拯救Harris的生命。与此同时，Harris的「灵魂」在医院里游荡，不知道自己真的变成了鬼魂还是纯粹在幻想。总的来说，这既是一部常规医学剧（Alex和医院里的其他医生每天还要照常诊治病人），又是一部带有灵异色彩的幻想剧。剧名《拯救希望》共有三重含义：拯救Harris、拯救普通病人，拯救Hope-Zion这所医院。Huse Madhavji、Julia Taylor-Ross和Kristopher Turner参与演出。该剧的演员和制作班底大多来自加拿大本土剧集《雏鹰展翅》（Rookie Blue）。 themoviedb
